Miscellaneous medium-sized photographs acquired by Joseph Needham while Director of the Sino-British Science Co-operation Office in Chongqing, China from 1943-1946. The photographer or source is given where known. Where the date is not noted on the photograph or cannot be surmised from other sources, a broad estimate is provided. There is also some doubt as to whether nos. 11 and 12 were taken in China or just after Dr. Needham’s return to Europe.
